Creating a Self-directed Learning space with Audio-visual Teaching Equipment for the Upgrading of the Learning Environment

After the implementation of the new curriculum guidelines of 12-Year Basic Education, senior high school students must complete at least 18 hours of self-directed learning during their studies. Teachers’ and students’ demand for learning space for consulting and discussion has increased. As some senior high schools are six-year high schools, the K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, in order to bring up the school facilities to the level in line with the spirit of the new curriculum guidelines, has actively assisted these schools to improve their self-directed learning space and upgrade the relevant teaching equipment of audio-visual classrooms, so that students can learn in a better environment.
