Taiwan Wins 1 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals at the 36th International Olympiad in Informatics 2024

Team Taiwan achieved commendable results at the 36th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2024, hosted by Egypt. On September 6, 2024 (local time), news arrived that among 353 students from 96 countries, Taiwan's four representatives secured 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. The silver medalist was Chen, Po-Kai from Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School (ranked 36th individually). The bronze medalists were Chao, Yi-You, a student in a non-school-based experimental education program under the Tainan City Government (ranked 92nd individually), Tsao, Yun-Shuo from the National Experimental High School at Hsinchu Science Park (ranked 100th individually), and Chang, Ping-Chung from Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School (ranked 110th individually). Their performance was outstanding.
