Kaohsiung City Fongyang Elementary School Promotes International Education: Connecting Globally Through Online Exchange

To extend international education to elementary and high schools, the K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, continues to encourage schools to enhance students' global perspectives and intercultural communication skills through international programs and exchanges. Fongyang Elementary School in Kaohsiung, for example, has incorporated bilingual courses into its featured curriculum and arranged online exchange activities with Ano Elementary School in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. Students and teachers from both schools learn about each other's local dishes, education systems, cultures, customs, and even popular anime characters, thereby strengthening their English skills and broadening their international horizons.
