One gold, four silvers, and one bronze have been secured at the 64th IMO

An exciting piece of news about the Taiwanese national team at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO of 2023) hosted in Japan was spread to the home country on July 12, 2023. Among 618 participating students from 112 countries, the six Taiwanese representative students demonstrated outstanding performance and won one gold, four silver, and one bronze medals in total, ranking tenth in the world (based on the participants’ total scores). Of the Taiwanese national representative team, the gold medal winner, Chiang, En-Hua, a student in the 11th grade of the Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School, demonstrated the best performance and was individually ranked 28th.
