Incorporation of Aesthetic Design into Textbooks—New Edition of Textbooks in School Year of 2019 Wins Recognition

In order to improve the quality of textbooks, incorporate aesthetic design into textbooks, and develop policies in line with the trend of the times, the Ministry of Education has invited a total of 20 experts, scholars, and representatives from the Aesthetic Sense Association, parent groups, teacher groups, as well as the fields of finance, accounting, and design, through the Textbook Quality Promotion Committee for National Elementary School and Junior High School, to form a committee to provide professional advices for the enhancement of the quality of textbooks. In addition, the K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, organized a training workshop for compilation of textbook and development of talents to motivate more excellent talents to join relevant fields.
