South Korean Delegation Visits Taiwan for Human Rights Education Exchange
To advance international exchanges on human rights education, a group of 25 teachers and students from South Korea’s Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education, led by Supervisor Yoo Sang-eun, visited the Human Rights Education Resource Center of the K-12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education from June 10 to 13, 2023. There, the Director of the Center and Principal of National Tainan Girls' Senior High School, Mr. Hung Ching-Tsai, introduced the Center's work of integrating human rights education into the curricula of various subjects and helping teachers enhance their knowledge of the development and teaching of human rights education courses. The four-day, three-night exchange program also included visits to the Tang Te-Chang Memorial Residence, the Tainan City 228 Memorial Hall, the National 228 Memorial Museum, and the National Human Rights Museum.
