Vocational Education Strengthening Connections with Industry : Marine Engineering Department of NTKMFVH Collaborates with Yacht Industry to Enhance Students’ Workplace Experience

In order to strengthen the connection between vocational education and the industry so that students can fill the demand in the workplace, the K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, continues to encourage senior high and vocational schools to collaborate with the industry and motivate teachers and students to perform internship at enterprises to develop the necessary skills and attitudes as professionals. The students and teachers in the Marine Engineering Department at the National Tung Kang Maritime and Fishery Vocational High School (NTKMFVH) in Kaohsiung City recently visited Ocean Alexander in Kaohsiung City, to enhance students’ exposure and polish their practical skill in the workplace, in order to better understand the future employment environment so as to get prepared for their career at earlier stage.
