As the new semester started in September, the chance of contracting enteroviruses is risen due to frequent contact with classmates. To avoid the infection, children shall wash hands correctly and regularly. On 22nd September, Director-General Wu Ching-Shan of the K-12 Education Administration demonstrated the steps of washing hands in front of students at the kindergarten of Keelung’s Chang Sing Elementary School. Washing hands for at least 20 seconds and then wipe with a cloth or tissue paper can reduce the bacteria in hands and stay away from enteroviruses. This is a basic step for children to stay healthy.
