MOE Lending Junior High and Elementary Schools its Full Support to Aesthetic Planning of Campus with Distinctive School Features

The Aesthetic Planning of Campus with Distinctive School Features are incentive programs that are designed to encourage the junior high and elementary schools in utilizing their campus, and develop courses that incorporate local features, through the participation of the evaluation process. Each year, K-12 Education Administration invites specialists to join the review committee which conducts the first trial and second trial. The candidates were evaluated during the selection process based on its innovativeness, concreteness, sustainability, distinctiveness, and effectiveness on space utilization or course design. Those schools that surged out as Outstanding, Excellence, Merit, Good, and Honorable Mention will receive grants and subsidies, together with a certificate of honor accordingly. In the school year of 2014, among the 210 schools that participated, 13 schools were elected as "Outstanding," 20 as "Excellence," 27 as "Merit," 30 as "Good," and 46 as " Honorable Mention."
