Teaching Demonstration and Material Presentation Event on Filial Piety Education in 2017

The K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, and the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) Foundation were concerned about the urgent need to raise the public's attention to filial piety, which has been lost for some time due to the rapid changes in the social and economic environment in recent years. Therefore, they decided to work together and held a warm teaching activity on the eve of the winter solstice on December 12, 2017 at Feng Gu Elementary School in the Wufeng District, Taichung City. The teaching activity, titled "Filial Piety Education" demonstrated the teaching materials and how this course could be conducted with an aim to re-awaken students' awareness of filial piety and morality, thereby accentuating the core value that our society once held dear.
