President Recognizes the Delegation's Exceptional Performance in 2023 International Mathematics and Science Olympiads

Taiwan's delegation had an exceptional performance with 28 gold medals, 17 silver medals, six bronze medals, and four honorable mentions in the 2023 International Olympiads. On Jan 8, 2024, the Ministry of Education (MOE) organized the 2023 International Mathematics and Science Olympiads Award Ceremony to celebrate the winning students and recognize the hard work of advisors and teaching assistants that help students shine on the international stage and achieve great success for our country. President Tsai Ing-wen also met with representatives of students and advisors at the Office of the President. The president not only expressed appreciation for their hard work and outstanding performance in science , but also encouraged students to continue to cultivate their expertise, reach their full potential, and utilize their scientific spirit of analytical research to achieve fruitful results for themselves and Taiwan.
