The Handover Ceremony of Director General of K-12 Education Administration Ministry of Education

K-12 Education Administration under the Ministry of Education shoulders great responsibility for planning, implementing, and supervising the K-12 education policies and programs, and assisting local governments with the management of K-12-related affairs. Under the leadership of Huang, Tzu-teng, the former Director-general, a variety of critical policies had been pushed forward; after he handed the baton over to the new Director-general, he was designated as Counselor of Ministry of Education. Once the designation process was forwarded to the Executive Yuan for approval and record, Chiu, Chien-Kuo, Deputy Director-General of Education Bureau of Taichung City Government, assumed his position as head of K-12 Education Administration. On the day when the handover ceremony was held, Pan, Wen-Chung, the Education Minister, acted as the supervisor of the handover, and Wu, Ching-Shan, the first Director General of K-12 Education Administration, was invited to deliver a speech. Three, former and present, Director Generals have come together for this ceremony, making it a heartwarming occasion.
