2018 Educational Visiting and Interchanging Activities Promotion Group from Japan

“2018 Educational Visiting and Interchanging Activities Promotion Group from Japan” invited by K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education visited Taiwan from June 25 to June 29, 2018. The 18 members of the visiting group led by the Principal Abe Hiroshi of the Sendai Third Senior High School of Miyagi Prefecture, included the principals of three prefectures, Miyagi, Yamagata and Iwate, of the Northeastern Japan and the undertakers of the International Education Tours. The group departed from Narita Airport, Japan on June 25, 2018. Upon arriving in Taiwan, the group headed to Taichung and visited the National Taichung Theater. Through explanation of the guide, the members appreciated the new city landmark designed by Ito Kazuo. The welcome party held at the Hotel National in Taichung on June 25, 2018 was hosted by Mr. CHIU, CHIEN-KUO, the director of K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education. There were party participants of Tourism and Travel Bureau and Education Bureau under Taichung City Government, the Taiwan International Association for Education Tours and the school principals that will lead tour groups to visit the aforementioned three prefectures of the Northeastern Japan this summer.
