Two Golds and two silvers secured at the 34th IOI

An exciting piece of news about Taiwan’s national team at the 34th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2022) was spread to the home country on August 14, 2022. Among 349 participating students from 88 countries (or regions), Taiwan’s representatives have won two gold and two silver medals in total, ranking 4th on par with South Korea in the world. Of Taiwan’s national team, the two gold medal winners are Liu, En-Yi from National Experimental High School At Hsinchu Science Park (individually ranked 19th) and Hou, Hsin-Wei from the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (individually ranked 29th); the two silver medal winners are Liu, Che from Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School (individually ranked 49th) and Lai, Chao-Hsun from from Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School (individually ranked 80th). They excelled at the competition.
