Taiwan’s national team won one gold and three silvers at the 35th IOI in 2023

An exciting piece of news about Taiwan’s national team at the 35th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2023) spread home on September 3, 2023. Among 351 participating students from 87 countries, Taiwan’s representatives have won one gold and three silver medals in total, ranking 5th in the world. Among Taiwan’s national team, the gold medal winner is Wang, Chi from National Tainan First Senior High School (individually ranked 14th) and the three silver medal winners are Chang, Ting-Wei (individually ranked 31st) and Chen, Po-Kai (individually ranked 38th) from the Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School and Chiu, Yi-Chun from the National Experimental High School at Hsinchu Science Park (individually ranked 47th). All of them demonstrated outstanding performance at the competition.
