- Planning, promotion, and supervision of the campus security center at senior high school level and below.
- Planning, promotion, and supervision of All-Out Defense Education, campus security, disaster prevention education, traffic safety education, and off-campus consultation at senior high school level and below.
- Promotion and supervision of the personnel management of military education instructors and nursing teachers at military education units and senior high schools under the department and various municipal governments.
- Planning, supervision, and funding of health and sanitation systems and health promotion efforts at preschools and other schools at the senior high level and below.
- Planning, promotion, and supervision of the prevention and control of infectious diseases and chronic diseases at preschools and other schools at the senior high level and below.
- Planning, promotion, and supervision of environmental hygiene and protection, school lunches, and the nutrition and hygiene of food and beverages on campus at preschools and other schools at the senior high level and below.
- Other matters pertaining to student affairs and consultation, campus security, and school hygiene and sanitation at preschools and other schools at the senior high level and below.
